Our client is driving a technological and social change to create a new financial model and a new source of wealth for communities. By combining an open payment network with a local crypto-based community currency, they are leveraging new technological possibilities for a monetary system that is designed to create financial incentives and drive economic growth for communities.

We are looking for a special person to join the team as their Regional Manager with the main responsibility for Business Development for Gibraltar and parts of Europe. This person will be reporting to the Chief Economics and Regulation Officer.

As the Business Development manager at Gibraltar, you will help grow the business' Network of communities. You will do this by identifying, developing and closing opportunities and partnerships that have synergies with the current business goals.

Key requirements
Previous experience working in a senior business development role
Experience working in the fintech industry
Proven track record of generating new business and achieving revenue growth
Ambitious, target focussed, self-starter with a drive to succeed
Background with blockchain and cryptocurrency is a bonus
Creativity in seeing where opportunities exist within the business and with outside partners
Presentation skills
Ability to interact with senior management in large companies
Experience creating partnerships with international companies
Experience negotiating contracts with a win-win orientation
Understand, build, forecast and communicate the financial terms and business implications of the deal
Spoken and written English at a very high level
