This is a fantastic opportunity to join the new office of an established and award winning payments company, in their brand new Malta based offices. Reporting into the Risk Manager you will play a key role in on-boarding new clients to ensure a smooth and seamless process.

Day to day...

Review financial promotions and all other marketing materials (including websites and social media) to ensure that they are fair, balanced, and not misleading and compliant with the relevant regulatory requirements.
Classify customers in accordance with a risk-based approach conducting Enhanced Due Diligence in accordance with policy and Gibraltar Regulations
Conduct KYC/KYB checks on new business relationships
Assist with Client On-boarding related projects as directed by line manager
Perform periodic reviews of existing customer base to ensure ongoing compliance with requirements
Update the team on any Mastercard rules by checking bulletins regularly
Assist in Providing Compliance training support to employees when required
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by line manager

Requirements:
Malta (and desirable European) compliance/ due diligence experience in the Payments sector or complementary sector to Payments such as mobile/telecoms operators, internet, e-commerce, mCommerce, or lending institutions
Previous due diligence experience within the Financial Services industry
Previous experience on-boarding financial clients and ideally within the payments sector
Exceptional attention to detail
Previous KYC experience within regulated markets
Previous customer service experience and problem resolution in a fast paced environment
