Responsibilities:
The compliance officer's primary role will be to act as the MLRO and RGO for the Gibraltar licensed entity (and any other licensed European subsidiary or affiliated entity of the same) and to provide support and assistance.
Acting as the MLRO and RGO for the licensed online European businesses (including reporting obligations), promoting a culture of compliance with applicable gaming and financial crime legislation (particularly in relation to online payments).
Developing a detailed understanding of the risks associated with online gaming and online payments as it affects the Company.
Assisting in the development of the Compliance Group's guidance and best practices.
Building and maintaining awareness within the European businesses of regulatory and listing requirements applicable to the European subsidiaries, managers and staff
Requirements Able to juggle the full range of compliance issues and be a credible PML (UK) and Responsible Person (Malta).
Strong background in a similar role, familiar with UK, Malta, Italy jurisdictions and able to juggle the full range of compliance issues and be a credible PML (UK) and Responsible Person (Malta). Able to work as part of a team and autonomously. Organised and able to take responsibility for compliance and to deal with both internal and external stakeholders (including the regulators).
