Emma graduated with a Business degree from Coventry University, and soon after began her career as an internal recruiter with PartyGaming in 2004. Emma was the first recruiter to join the business and her debut into the world of iGaming recruitment quickly turned into a baptism of fire; as the company listed on the London Stock Exchange in 2005, and grew by 100s in her first 18 months.
By this point, Emma had caught the recruitment bug big time! In 2006, she progressed into a role as Business Development Manager (Europe) for a recruitment agency within the iGaming market. In 2009, Emma founded EyeSpy Recruitment and soon after gained a business partner in the form of her sister, Jo Sykes.
Together, the sisters have worked tirelessly to build up a reputation as a global source of talent acquisition for FTSE companies, SMEs and fast growth start-ups in iGaming, Ecommerce, Legal and Financial sectors.
Emma leads the company’s business development activities globally and can often be seen representing EyeSpy at key industry events. She has an exceptional and deep-seated understanding of the iGaming and Ecommerce landscape and thrives in a commercially competitive environment.
When she’s not setting the world on fire in the office, she likes nothing better than a long lunch at the weekend with her family and friends.
